Second to last stop

Shelter is offered throughout the Heaphy Track hike. The main huts have a ranger in them to help hikers and keep the facilities up to scratch. There is the option to pitch a tent which gives one a more solitudinal experience though socialising with other hikers is often a given. This was the second to last campsite coming out at the Karamea end. Though I never stayed in the last camp site opting to walk out which was only another two hours walk.
