Board Walk to the Saxon Hut

A boardwalk cuts through the alpine grasses to the Saxon DOC hut. Taken the morning of my departure. I'd been able to spend the night in the hut rather than tent because the ranger ruled it was too wet to put up a tent. Thankfully the rain abated by morning. Christmas Eve 2007.
